ARTIST STATEMENT:
"My work is the result of a combination of natural and manmade elements, representing both a meeting and a conflict between nature and culture in each aspect of life. At times these elements are given shape to in the use of natural and industrial materials, sometimes in a mixture of organic and geometrical shaped elements. Many of my works are inspired by daily objects that are used by the rural populace because the items that they use generally seem simple in shape which gives a clear impression of their closeness to and appreciation of nature."
